1. Introduction
Welcome to Areté Medical Community. These Terms of Use govern your access and participation in surveys, studies, and any other services (“Services”) provided by Areté Medical Community (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these terms, so please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you may not use our Services.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Services, you accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change or update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Services indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
3. Description of Services
Areté Medical Community provides services, including but not limited to participation in market research surveys, medical community, interviews, and other research activities. These services are offered to individuals who agree to participate in studies related to healthcare research.
4. Account Registration and Use
To use our Services, you may be required to register and create an account. You agree to:
• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Be responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
To register and participate in research studies with Areté Medical Community, you may be required to verify your identity through an approved identity verification provider. This is to ensure the integrity of our research community and prevent fraudulent registrations. If you do not complete the verification process, your access to our platform or participation in studies may be restricted. Alternative verification methods may be offered at our discretion. Further details on how we process identity verification data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
5. Participation in Research Activities
Your participation in surveys, medical community, and other research activities is entirely voluntary. Participation in a survey or study does not guarantee compensation unless specified otherwise. Areté Medical Community reserves the right to refuse or limit participation at any time.
6. Compensation
If you successfully complete a survey or research activity, you may be eligible for compensation, subject to specific conditions. Full details regarding eligibility, payment processing, and tax responsibilities can be found in our Compensation Provisions:
I. Eligibility
Participants must provide accurate and truthful information during registration and survey completion. Providing false information may disqualify you from compensation and future participation. Each participant may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts or using multiple identities to qualify for the same survey will result in disqualification from compensation and termination from the medical community.
II. Compensation for Participation
Compensation will be provided only for fully completed surveys or research activities, as specified in the invitation. Compensation is not offered for partial completion or disqualification during the screening process. Survey participation is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the required number of participants has been reached, the survey will close, and further participation will not be accepted.
Participants who provide inaccurate or incomplete responses, rush through surveys, or fail quality checks will not be eligible for compensation. Areté Medical Community reserves the right to withhold payment in cases where fraudulent, misleading, or low-quality responses are identified.
III. Compensation Process
After completing a survey or research activity, we aim to process incentives as quickly as possible, often immediately after completion. However, in some cases, processing times may vary due to operational factors or payment provider requirements. While we strive to process all payments immediately after completion, or within one week at the latest, unexpected delays may occasionally occur.
If you do not receive compensation within two weeks, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate and resolve the issue. All claims related to unreceived payments must be submitted no later than 6 months from survey completion. After this period, Areté Medical Community will no longer be responsible for issuing payment.
Certain types of incentives may have an expiration period set by the incentive provider, which could be shorter than 6 months. It is the recipient’s responsibility to redeem their incentive before it expires. Areté Medical Community will not be responsible for reissuing expired incentives.
IV. Payment Distribution
Payment will be distributed in the currency specified in the invitation. The payment method and options may vary based on your location. Areté Medical Community reserves the right to modify available payment options or service providers at any time. Participants will be informed of any such changes where applicable.
We may share limited personal data (such as your email address) with these providers solely for the purpose of distributing rewards. These providers act strictly on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.
Areté Medical Community is not liable for any delays, technical errors, or transaction fees imposed by third-party payment providers. Any issues related to payment processing should be resolved directly with the payment provider.
V. Taxation
Participants are responsible for reporting compensation to their local tax authorities. Areté Medical Community will comply with any legal obligations related to tax reporting, but does not assume responsibility for individual tax liabilities.
7. User Content
When participating in surveys or submitting any content (“User Content”), you grant Areté Medical Community a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute the content for research purposes.
